Back up AI prompts, LLM artifacts, and workflows
Preserve prompt versions, model references, retrieval inputs, and evaluation cases without confusing credentials with service credits.
Read the 6-minute guideThree meanings. Three different plans.
“AI token” can refer to tokenizer artifacts, access credentials, or service usage. These are not interchangeable backup objects. Name the category before deciding where it belongs. This page focuses on keeping model artifacts usable, credentials protected, and usage records distinct from the entitlement a service manages.
Save tokenizer artifacts with the appropriate model release. Manage access credentials through an approved secret system rather than a general archive or public repository. Keep usage reports labeled as records, and verify balances or entitlement through the service that controls them.
Check that the tokenizer loads with the intended model artifacts. Separately test that an authorized operator can obtain fresh or recovered access through the approved process. Inspect exported records for inadvertently exposed secrets before sharing them.
No local archive should be represented as a copy of service entitlement. Keep records when needed, but confirm the actual balance and account terms with the provider. Treat credentials as secrets, not as stored credits.
